Eternal Sunflower

Sunflowers are named after their shape resembling a small sun and their sunny nature. The English name "Sunflower" is not because of its sunny nature, but because its yellow flowers bloom like the sun. The term Sunflower was borrowed from the Latin word Flos Solis in the 16th and 17th centuries. The French, Italian, and Spanish names of sunflowers, Tournesol, Girasol, and Girasol, are also named based on the characteristic of "sunflower", just like the Chinese names.
